Sound Heuristics is a series of music workshops that require no prior knowledge from its participants at all.
These sessions are practical in today’s digital world and function as team builders, group learnings and personal growth for the participants.

Rashid held a one-day workshop at the Rotary Learning Institute Singapore (RLIS). The session was one of the many courses the institute offers as a training partner of the National Silver Academy (NSA). Although some of the senior folks at the workshop were not very tech savvy, they could still grasp the concepts of digital music production taught by Rashid. They gave very positive feedback to show their satisfaction with the workshop.
I had the chance to do Rashid’s workshop with a group of strangers but by the end of it we were great friends through this incredible bonding experience. At first, I was very apprehensive since I had never dived into digital music however did have a music background (played guitar). Rashid’s System enabled me to learn a whole new perspective on creating music, while making new friends.
We were a group of teachers from various disciplines and had the chance to experience Rashid’s workshop. While many of us had no knowledge of digital music, we managed to understand the basic concepts very quickly through Rashid’s articulation. Although we were from different backgrounds, the session allowed us to connect on a deeper level of understanding and working with each other.
